Speech and Language Therapist (Advanced Specialist)



Salary: 44,802 - 49,780 per annum



Hours: 37.5 hours per week



Contract Type: Permanent, Full time



Location: Cheadle Hulme, SK8 6RQ

As a Speech and Language Therapist (Advanced Specialist), you'll:



Lead on assessment and intervention for a complex caseload Supervise and support qualified SaLTs to develop their clinical skills Design and deliver training packages to upskill the wider workforce Contribute to clinical governance, service evaluation, and innovation Collaborate across Health, Education, and Care to deliver holistic support Represent Seashell at professional conferences and networks

What We're Looking For:



BSc or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy HCPC registration and RCSLT membership Significant experience working with children/young people with complex needs Experience in clinical supervision, governance, and service development Strong understanding of AAC, autism, MSI, and neurodevelopmental disabilities Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

Desirable:



Dysphagia qualification Experience in education settings BSL, Makaton or Sign-a-long Research/project management experience
