We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of speech therapy techniques and the ability to work collaboratively with patients to help them achieve their communication goals.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities.
Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and voice quality.
Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and the therapeutic process.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for patients.
Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech therapy practices.
Experience
A recognised qualification in Speech Therapy or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders.
Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential for newly qualified therapists.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
