A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a

Speech and Language Therapist

to join a highly regarded

SEN School in Hillingdon

on a

permanent contract

. You will be supporting pupils with

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

and associated communication needs, helping them develop key communication and life skills in a nurturing, specialist environment.

You'll play a key role in supporting pupils'

language development, speech production, social communication, AAC

, and

eating/swallowing

needs. Input is delivered through:

Individual and small group therapy sessions Class-based interventions and collaboration with teachers Setting and monitoring specific communication targets Family engagement and occasional home liaison
This is a

collaborative, multidisciplinary setting

, working closely with OTs, teachers, and support staff to deliver impactful, child-centred therapy.

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified

Speech and Language Therapist

(HCPC registered or pending) Experience or strong interest in

ASD and complex communication needs

Confident using

AAC, PECS, Makaton, and visual supports

Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Empathetic, patient, and committed to helping each pupil thrive
