We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in individuals of all ages. This role requires a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for clients through tailored therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment results.
Provide therapy sessions to clients, utilising evidence-based techniques and strategies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to support client progress.
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Educate clients and their families about communication disorders and effective strategies for improvement.
Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in speech therapy practices.
Qualifications
A recognised degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
Valid registration with the relevant professional body.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
A passion for helping others and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
