Job Description

The Speech and Language Therapy Service in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent provides assessment and treatment for adults with communication and/or swallowing difficulties in community settings, including patients' own homes. We offer dysphagia, communication, and voice assessment and intervention, supported by strong leadership and compassionate management.

We have an exciting Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) role available for 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis covering the Stoke-on-Trent area.

We'd expect you to be happy to travel to see people in a location which suits them best, be great at engaging with the people who use the service and their families, and to be happy to offer face to face appointments and telephone calls.

You will need to have the following skills or experience:



Be a registered Speech and Language Therapist Be an independently practicing dysphagia clinician A willingness to undertake post-registration training relevant to the post Commitment to attending Clinical Excellence Networks relevant to the post
