Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled speech and language therapist to join our diagnostic team. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for children, adolescents, and adults as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic process

Provide clear, detailed reports and recommendations based on assessment findings to help guide treatment and support planning

Work closely with other healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans for individuals

Offer expert advice and support to families and schools on communication and language development issues

Contribute to case discussions and diagnostic team meetings

Stay current with the latest research and best practices in speech and language therapy, particularly in the context of diagnostic assessments



Requirements:

A recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy (e.g., BSc, MSc)

HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration as a Speech and Language Therapist

Proven experience in conducting speech and language assessments, particularly in the context of developmental disorders, language delays, and communication challenges

Strong understanding of a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders (e.g., autism spectrum disorders, language delays, dysphasia, etc.)

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Empathetic, patient, and committed to delivering high-quality care to individuals and families

Familiarity with specific assessment tools and diagnostic frameworks used in the field
