is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic

Speech and Language Therapist (SALT)

to join a friendly and supportive

SEN school

. The school caters for children with a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and communication difficulties, and social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a therapist who is passionate about improving communication skills and helping young people reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and deliver tailored speech and language therapy programmes to students with varying communication needs. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom. Monitor and evaluate progress, keeping detailed records and reports. Support staff with training and guidance on effective communication approaches. Promote an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A recognised qualification in

Speech and Language Therapy

.

HCPC registration

and

RCSLT membership

. Experience working with children and young people with

ASD, SLCN,

or

complex communication needs

. A positive, proactive approach with strong interpersonal skills. An enhanced

DBS check

(or willingness to apply).
