An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic Speech and Language Therapist to lead and develop the Speech and Language Therapy service within the West Cumberland hospital and North Cumbria community, specifically within the area of Copeland.



This team works closely to deliver high quality Speech and Language Therapy provision across acute and the community settings Given the semi rural nature of this region, telemedicine has been used for some time and is well established as mode of therapy delivery.



This post will primarily be based at West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven but there will be a requirement to travel around North Cumbria to provide a service into the community and to manage the wider community team and develop services.



The North Cumbria Speech and Language Therapy team is a small, friendly, supportive team with good opportunities for ongoing training. We have a well developed supervision and peer support system in place.

Standard Check:

18 + Administration cost of 3.85 = 21.85. Deducted at 6.85 from 1st month salary and 5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
