Sponsorship Sales Consultant (part Time)

Job Description

The Role



We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Sponsorship Sales professional to drive sponsorship revenue for educational programs and events in these markets. The role requires a commercially astute professional with expertise in selling Visibility (i.e. brand/ logo placement), Access (i.e. speaking slots and exhibition space), Engagement (i.e. facilitated introductions and interactions with target communities) that are consistent with their marketing, brand, sales and CSR goals.

Our events provide skill development and career readiness support to large, diverse student cohorts, including many from disadvantaged backgrounds. It offers a platform for sponsors to build employer brand, source innovative ideas, conduct product research or simply fulfil their CSR objectives (e.g. upskill disadvantaged students). The consultant will be required to engage in consultative selling to match sponsor needs and demonstrate ROI.

The role will suit freelancers or fractional sales experts with networks into HR/ CSR/ innovation/ marketing audiences in organizations in our target markets and are looking to grow their portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities



Review and understanding the portfolio of our programs and events round the year, including their respective objectives, audiences and formats.

Research and prospect potential sponsor organizations and target decision makers/ influencers for our educational programs and events.

Plan and execute target community outreach campaigns using CRM tools.

Pitch - and adapt where needed - our tiered sponsorship packages (e.g., Gold, Silver, Bronze) that meet their needs.

Track and report sales pipeline data and insights with our team.

Recommend actions to build strong, long-term relationships with current and potential sponsors and secure renewals.

Personal profile requirements



Experienced in sponsorship sales with demonstrable success

Consultative Seller who offers solutions to client needs or problems, not just sell products.

Creative with an entrepreneurial instinct to develop innovative ways to engage decision-makers to understand their needs and priorities as well as develop compelling solutions with our programs and events.

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Flexibility to work independently with minimal supervision and a strong focus on results.

We offer a generous sales commission with a fixed retainer for the right candidate.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 24,001.63-52,006.72 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
