We serve the world's leading executives in manufacturing with our extensive portfolio of international benchmarking and networking summits across Europe and the USA, which highlight a wide range of key issues and trends faced within manufacturing management.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you play a dynamic role in securing new commercial partners and sponsorship revenue across the globe. Responsible for the delivery aspect of booked clients and then to further cross-sell and grow the clients across both new and established international industry-leading summits.
You will be selling on various conferences portfolio over the course of the year and building new business development essential for our client base for each conference and drive further commercial success across a portfolio of international conferences.
Please note, we require employees to attend the office 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday & Thursdays)
Responsibilities
Understand specific client challenges in each of the markets we serve and how our products align to meet those challenges.
Build a thorough understanding of our products, the industry and the competitors.
Maintain regular contact with clients and formulate innovative, creative and profitable solutions for their business.
Pitching C-level Executives and Directors within the manufacturing sector.
Maintain close liaison with the marketing, production and operations teams in order to ensure the delivery of successful customer-focused events.
Working closely with the Sales Director to conduct monthly revenue forecasts, sales reports and manage a sales pipeline.
Identify potential customers from competitive media, events and other business sources.
Overall responsibility of the revenue targets across our events portfolio

Ideal Candidate
Professional, goal-oriented, telephone sales focussed.
Ability to communicate with a wide range of clients at all levels.
A track record in business to business event sales with a minimum of 2 years experience.
Strong reporting skills.
Good communicator - written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills - time, task and diary management.
Efficient with LinkedIn, Sales Navigator & Socials to build networks and relationships.
Understand how to use a CRM system - We use HubSpot.
Self-Belief, determination and willing to work hard and increase their earnings potential.
Package:
Base Salary: 35-40k based on experience.
Commission 3.5% - 10.% of deal value paid monthly,
Salary, commission, and benefits (Expected Earnings - Year 1 based on 2022 figures - 65,000,

Base Salary: 35,000-40,000 per year plus generous, uncapped commission scheme. Genuine OTE 65k-75k p/a.
? 8.30-5.00pm Monday-Thursday. 4.00pm finish on Fridays.
