Yellow Birds Play Academy is looking for a fun, enthusiastic Sport Coach join our team.
Benefits: Our successful candidate will be paid dependent on qualifications and experience. Candidates will have the opportunity holiday club during the school holidays. Benefits include accumulative holiday pay and a pension.
Requirements:
Regular afternoon shifts during the school term time (38 weeks per year): 8.00am - 9.00am and 3.00pm-6.00pm.
Person Specification:
First and foremost you need to love caring for and playing with children as we are a play-based setting. You need at least 1 years' experience working with children in a school or quality childcare setting. You need to have tons of energy, a positive attitude and be prepared to turn your hand to just about anything. As part of a team of 3 you will need to join and in some cases lead fun and games in a group of up to 28 children aged 4-11 years.
Responsibilities:
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the children are safe and happily engaged at all times. You will also help to set up and put away equipment and toys, set-out tables and chairs, serve a simple snack, interact with parents and, with appropriate training, provide first aid to the children where required.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Permanent
Pay: 7.55-13.50 per hour
Schedule:
Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends
