Sport, Health and Physical Activity Coordinator

to lead and inspire students across Doncaster College.


In this exciting role, you'll coordinate college-wide sports activities, lead on national initiatives such as TASS and AoC programmes, and design impactful sessions that promote resilience, wellbeing and personal development. You'll also contribute to teaching and learning, helping students achieve their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

Essential Criteria:



Relevant degree or Level 3 professional qualification in sport, health or physical activity. Teaching qualification or substantial industry experience (or working towards qualification). Experience in a lecturing or training role within Further or Higher Education. Knowledge of innovative teaching techniques and curriculum development. Strong organisational and communication skills with a student-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and coordinate college sports fixtures, competitions and enrichment activities. Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in sport and health. Act as lead for TASS and AoC initiatives, working closely with curriculum teams. Design and deliver sessions on resilience, British values, and safeguarding topics. Promote a positive student culture and support learners to reach their potential. Engage in recruitment, marketing and community liaison activities. Contribute to curriculum planning, quality improvement and staff development.
