An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic leisure professional to join our sports centre team. Our sports centre opened in September 2023. The Sports and Wellness Centre is used by school pupils during the school day and in term time for their PE lessons and extra curricular activities, we are also open to the community as a members only club, we operate Monday to Friday 06:00-08:30 and 18:00-22:00 around the school hours, Saturday 08:00-18:00 and Sunday 09:00-18:00 commercially, during holidays we are open Monday - Friday 06:00-22:00, Saturday 08:00-18:00 and Sunday 09:00-18:00.

As Sports Centre Assistant Manager you will perform a senior role during the Centre's opening hours, with full supervisory control over staff, and responsibility for the organisation and operation of the Centre.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in sports centre/fitness industry. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to motivate their team and ensure members and visitors are treated to an exceptional visit, through the delivery of very high standards and service at all times. They will also need to be able to manage the compliance side of the business.
