We are looking to recruit a part-time (20 hours per week) Sports Centre Team Member, with a sense of social purpose to help improve the lives of others and make a lasting difference in the lives of children and adults throughout the County of Gloucestershire.

The role is 20 hours per week

Hours to be worked during the daytime, evenings and weekends - work pattern can be discussed further, during the interview and selection process. There may also be opportunities for overtime working.

Salary is up to 13,600 per annum (based on working 20 hours per week), dependent on relevant skills, experience and qualifications.

We are inviting applications for a Sports Centre Team Member to be part of our Communities, Health & Wellbeing Team, based at our Cheltenham Sports Centre.

This is an exciting time to join us as we look to develop and grow the range of activities we deliver to the local community and specifically young people.

If you have a passion for sports and exercise, excellent people skills, enjoy working as part of team and have a desire to help deliver high quality activities to help people realise their potential this is the perfect role for you.

A level 2 in a relevant qualification is essential, as is previous experience working with children or young people.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Team Member's role is to work as part of a small and committed team to deliver a diverse timetable of activities and excellent customer service to YMCA members and the local community. Working closely with the Senior Manager - Physical Health and Sport, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for those using the Sports Centre and, as directed, help deliver and lead activities for our members.
