We're FIFTH Movement, and we're on the lookout for freelance sports coaches who can bring energy and confidence to primary school children through after-school clubs.
This isn't about following a script, it's about taking ownership of your sessions and making sport enjoyable, engaging, and inclusive for every child you work with.
The role
Deliver multi-sports clubs across KS1 and KS2 (think football, basketball, dodgeball, tag rugby and more).
Plan and lead your own sessions that are age-appropriate, safe, and fun.
Manage behaviour effectively, keeping sessions positive and structured.
Adapt activities where needed to ensure SEND children are fully included.
Work flexibly across schools during after-school hours (3pm - 4.30pm).
What we're looking for
Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, or activity leader setting.
Strong behaviour management, you know how to keep a group focused and enjoying themselves.
Confidence in planning and delivering sports sessions without relying on pre-set lesson plans.
Enhanced DBS check in place.
Reliability and commitment, schools and children need to know they can count on you.
Why work with us?
25 per hour, paid directly to you as a self-employed coach.
Freedom to bring your own coaching style and ideas into schools.
Opportunities to work across a range of schools, age groups, and sports.
Support from FIFTH Movement while still being in control of how you deliver your sessions.
If you can walk into a school hall and have children engaged, active, and smiling within minutes, we'd like to hear from you.
