, supporting young people who have been excluded from mainstream education. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering offsite physical education and activity sessions to secondary-aged pupils with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
You will work closely with our
Active Instructor
to help plan, deliver, and supervise a variety of sports and physical activities, including team sports, fitness sessions, outdoor challenges, and alternative activities. Sessions take place offsite and are designed to engage pupils, build confidence, improve physical health, and support personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of structured physical activity sessions for small groups of pupils
Assist in setting up and managing equipment and resources for sessions
Build positive relationships with pupils and act as a supportive role model
Promote teamwork, resilience, and positive behaviour through sport
Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils during offsite activities
Help manage behaviour using consistent, calm, and restorative approaches
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with young people, ideally in a PE or youth work setting
Is confident, energetic, and enjoys working in active, practical environments
Has excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills
Is resilient, patient, and committed to supporting vulnerable learners
