Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate children of primary school ages and skill levels. As a Sports Coach, you will play a pivotal role in developing children's skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive sporting environment.

We also take care of the childcare side of things by providing breakfast clubs and wrap around after school clubs to help children thrive through these times of days as well.

Duties

To follow school curriculum when delivering sessions for different year groups. To have a balance between coaching but also teaching children throughout the day. To be able to communicate with colleagues, teachers, children and even parents professionally and effectively. Foster a positive team culture for everyone you come across. Organise and lead competitive events, including matches and tournaments, ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and developments in the sports industry to continually improve coaching methods.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably in a specific sport or multiple sports disciplines. Strong knowledge of coaching principles, techniques, and strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children of varying ages and abilities. A genuine passion for sports and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all participants. Ability to work flexible hours throughout the day. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not mandatory. Pay: 11.00-16.00 per hour
