We're Hiring: Experienced Sports Coach - Inspire the next generation!



Location:

Bradford, Shipley BD18

Hours:

Minimum 20 hours worked across Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm and Saturday 9am-11am

Wage:

12.21 per hour

Travel expectations:

Regular school visits across the region; attendance at head office for meetings; some opportunities to work from home

About the Role


Kanga Sports is on a mission to bring high-quality, engaging physical activity and PE experiences to primary-aged children. As a deliverer, you'll play a key part in making sure every session is fun, active and taught to a high standard.

This is a rewarding, hands-on role working across primary schools in the region. You'll be helping children build confidence, develop fundamental movement skills and enjoy being active, while ensuring sessions are well organised, inclusive and aligned with our values.

What You'll Be Doing:



Deliver high-quality curriculum PE sessions across primary schools, adapting to different ages and abilities Lead additional sessions such as school CPD, 1:1 mentoring, breakfast, lunchtime and after-school clubs, and provide cover when needed Collaborate with the wider Kanga team to manage equipment, share resources and uphold our values Play a key role in Kanga Holiday Camps (up to 13 weeks per year), delivering fun, inclusive sport and enrichment activities during school holidays Support the development of apprentices through our internal training and mentoring programme

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:



You don't just teach sport - you live it. You believe in the power of movement, teamwork and positive role modelling, and you go above and beyond for the children you teach, your colleagues and your own growth.

We're looking for someone who has:

A

degree in PE, Sports Coaching

or a related field, or a

Level 4 School Sports Coaching qualification

NGB Level 1 or 2 coaching qualifications (or equivalent experience) Great communication and classroom management skills A team-focused, self-motivated attitude Energy, passion and empathy for helping children thrive
(Teaching qualifications such as a PGCE in PE are a bonus but not essential.)
