Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes of all skill levels. This role involves developing training programmes, providing guidance on techniques, and fostering a positive sporting environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth.

Responsibilities

Design and implement effective training sessions tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams. Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and techniques relevant to the sport. Monitor athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship and respect. Organise practice schedules, competitions, and events while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding training objectives and athlete development. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques, sports science advancements, and relevant regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports coaching or a related field is essential. Strong teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with athletes and their families. A deep understanding of the sport being coached, including rules, strategies, and best practices. Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their personal best while promoting teamwork. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
