Sports Coach

30 hrs per week / Permanent / Term Time Only

Salary: FTE salary of 28,850 - 33,680pa. This will be pro rata based on your contracted hours.

Start Date: September 2025

This is an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic PE department, in the role of a sports and games coach. School sport is a rapidly changing landscape and at Truro School, we want to ensure that our pupils have access to an array of sports and to have the opportunities to participate in them. We have excellent facilities and a large pupil interest in our programme, which creates both performance and participation streams. Due to this we are always busy with fixtures, clubs and activities, during the week and weekends.

The sports coach role is the bridge between the teaching and our co-curricular programme. Leading a major team sport, the role also incorporates our social media output and the facilitation of smaller sports and competitions. You will be expected to run lunch time and after school clubs, which will cover a variety of sports.
