We are seeking a Full Time professional and innovative Sports Coach to work within our team. The successful candidate will work with children between the ages of 4-11 in a school setting to deliver high quality Physical Education lessons along with extracurricular breakfast, lunch and after school clubs.

The successful applicant will play a key role within the school setting. Becoming an important figure within the school staff, able to independently teach Physical Education to all classes of 30 children aged between 4-11, whilst always having critical attention to detail and transparent communication between the school staff. You will be required to adapt and support however the school requires, whilst also becoming an important role model figure. You will be required to have the upmost professionalism. The role is heavily involved within the school setting but also extremely rewarding.

The successful candidate would also be required to support and deliver Holiday Camp activities as part of a team, during the half term holidays.

During term time, working hours would be between 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Friday (the hours will be on a fixed timetable for the academic year, discussed in your interview).

Out of term time working hours will be between 07:30- 16:30 Monday - Friday on a rota with an unpaid lunch break (30 hours a week, 13 weeks a year).

This will be discussed and clarified in our initial interview process.

This role requires an individual who is both passionate about sport as well as a good team player and is capable of inspiring others to succeed.

Full training will be provided to any applicants without the necessary qualifications initially

Responsibilities:

Deliver high quality Physical Education lessons.

Plan curricular overview to meet the schools' specific needs.

Deliver extracurricular clubs.

Deliver holiday camps as part of a team.

Termly assessments of pupil's progression.

Support and run tournament events.

Be open to obtaining SEN based qualifications and skills to support schools.

Clear and effective communication with school and company staff.

Inspire, engage, and empower children in sport.

Be adaptable and go the extra mile to support schools wherever necessary.

Follow individual schools safeguarding procedures and protocols.

Follow individual schools behaviour management system.

The successful candidate will only be required to travel between schools within a 30-mile radius of their home address which may include, Bexhill, Hastings, Hailsham, Eastbourne, Lewes, Uckfield, Hartfield, Crowborough, Nutley and other areas within East Sussex.

Annual leave must be taken out of term time in line with the annual academic school calendar
