Please note that successful candidates will be expected to pay for the Enhanced Disclosure and registration with the Education Workforce Council.

At Coleg Gwent we are committed to providing a working environment which embraces diversity and which promotes equality of opportunity. This is underpinned by the Equality Act 2010 and will be adhered to at each stage of the recruitment process.

Our goal is to ensure these commitments are also embedded in our day-to-day working practices with our learners, colleagues, and partners.

We know the most successful teams are the most diverse teams. Equality, diversity, and inclusion provide the very foundation to our culture at Coleg Gwent. We want every individual to feel confident, proud, and able to bring their whole selves to work. We welcome applications from those who think differently and we are flexible to cater to neurodiverse talent.

We are committed to being an anti-racist organisation and increasing diversity in the College by removing barriers and supporting all our staff to reach their potential. To ensure an improved representation in our workforce, applications are particularly welcome from minority groups including Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people, Females, LGBTQ+, non-binary and people with disabilities. Together we continue to build a workplace that not only celebrates the diverse voices of our colleagues but also represents the communities we serve.

We welcome applications from candidates who speak languages other than English and everyone regardless of age, marriage and civil partnership (both same sex and opposite sex), impairment or health condition, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, gender identity or gender expression in line with our Equality Opportunities policy. All campuses are accessible and facilities such as prayer rooms are available.

We are a Disability Confident Employer and affiliates of the Black Leadership Group. Key to supporting this work and providing peer support are 6 Board sponsored Staff Networks (Enabled, Men's Alliance, Women Together, Cynefin, LGBTQ+ and Race Alliance).

What brings us together?

We are committed to building a culture of inclusion that empowers our people to thrive and fosters a sense of belonging.

To support the College in being a respectful community we have an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) steering group. Hear our ED&I Champions talk about why they are so passionate about equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Your wellbeing matters.

Your wellbeing is important to us. We want to ensure you are able to make the most of the opportunities and reach your full potential. From a programme of wellbeing activities throughout the year underpinned by the Headspace app for all staff which has a diverse selection of meditations that aim to fulfil both beginners and long-time meditators needs and preferences to Partners who are trained mental health champions, to subsidised gym access, we're determined to create an environment that supports everyone's mental and physical health.

Please state your preferred location and sport in the Further Supporting Information section of the application form (Page 6).

Hyrwyddo cydraddoldeb, chwarae teg a chwaraeon ym mhob gweithgaredd. Gwasanaethu fel model rol cadarnhaol a phroffesiynol i fyfyrwyr a staff.

Yr Hyn Rydym yn Chwilio Amdano

Rydym yn chwilio am rywun sydd:

Yn frwdfrydig iawn ac yn angerddol am wneud gwahaniaeth gwirioneddol ym mywydau pobl ifanc. Yn hyderus yn eu gallu i ysbrydoli ac ymgysylltu a dysgwyr trwy chwaraeon. Yn broffesiynol, yn gyfeillgar ac yn hawdd mynd ato yn eu rhyngweithiadau a dysgwyr a staff. Wedi ymrwymo i hyrwyddo lles, cynhwysiant a chariad at chwaraeon.
Mae'r gallu i ddefnyddio'r Gymraeg ar lefel sylfaenol (neu barodrwydd i ymgymryd a hyfforddiant) yn ddymunol.

Gellir cyflwyno ceisiadau yn Gymraeg ac ni fyddant yn cael eu trin yn llai ffafriol na cheisiadau a gyflwynir yn Saesneg.

Mae'r Coleg wedi ymrwymo i ddiogelu, gan sicrhau diogelwch a lles plant a phobl ifanc. Mae cyflogaeth yn amodol ar Ddatgeliad Manwl boddhaol gan y Gwasanaeth Datgelu a Gwahardd a chofrestriad gyda Chyngor y Gweithlu Addysg (CGA) os yn briodol.

Sylwch y bydd disgwyl i ymgeiswyr llwyddiannus dalu am y Datgeliad Manylach a chofrestru gyda Chyngor y Gweithlu Addysg.

Yn Coleg Gwent, rydym wedi ymrwymo i ddarparu amgylchedd gwaith sy'n croesawu amrywiaeth ac sy'n hyrwyddo cyfleoedd cyfartal. Mae Deddf Cydraddoldeb 2010 yn sail i hyn a byddwn yn glynu wrthi ar bob cam o'r broses recriwtio.

Ein nod yw sicrhau bod yr ymrwymiadau hyn wedi'u hymgorffori yn ein hymarferion gwaith o ddydd i ddydd gyda'n dysgwyr, ein cydweithwyr a'n partneriaid.

Rydym yn gwybod mai'r timau mwyaf llwyddiannus yw'r timau mwyaf amrywiol. Mae cydraddoldeb, amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant yn sail i'n diwylliant yn Coleg Gwent. Rydym yn dymuno i bob unigolyn deimlo'n hyderus, teimlo'n falch a theimlo ei fod yn gallu bod ei wir hunan yn y gwaith. Rydym yn croesawu ceisiadau gan y rhai sy'n meddwl yn wahanol ac rydym yn hyblyg i ddarparu ar gyfer talent niwroamrywiol.

Rydym wedi ymrwymo i fod yn sefydliad gwrth-hiliaeth a chynyddu amrywiaeth yn y Coleg trwy chwalu rhwystrau a chefnogi pob aelod o staff i gyrraedd ei botensial. I sicrhau cynrychiolaeth well yn ein gweithlu, croesawn geisiadau, yn benodol, gan grwpiau lleiafrifol gan gynnwys pobl dduon, pobl Asiaidd, a phobl o leiafrifoedd ethnig, menywod, pobl LGBTQ+, pobl anneuaidd a phobl gydag anableddau. Gyda'n gilydd, rydym yn parhau i greu gweithle sydd, nid yn unig, yn dathlu lleisiau amrywiol ein cydweithwyr, ond sydd, hefyd, yn cynrychioli'r cymunedau rydym yn eu gwasanaethu.

Rydym yn croesawu ceisiadau gan ymgeiswyr sy'n siarad ieithoedd eraill a phawb, beth bynnag eu hoedran, statws priodasol neu bartneriaeth sifil (un rhyw neu ddau ryw), nam neu gyflwr meddygol, rhyw, cyfeiriadedd rhywiol, beichiogrwydd a mamolaeth, hil, crefydd neu gred, hunaniaeth rhywedd neu fynegiant rhywedd, yn unol a'n Polisi Cyfleoedd Cyfartal. Mae pob campws yn hygyrch ac mae cyfleusterau megis ystafelloedd gweddio ar gael.

Rydym yn Gyflogwr Hyderus o ran Anabledd ac rydym wedi ymlynu wrth y Gr?p Arweinyddiaeth Pobl Dduon. Mae 6 Rhwydwaith Staff a noddir gan y Bwrdd (Enabled, Men's Alliance, Women Together, Cynefin, LGBTQ+ a Race Alliance) yn allweddol o ran cefnogi'r gwaith hwn a darparu cymorth i gymheiriaid.

Beth sy'n dod a ni ynghyd?

Rydym wedi ymrwymo i greu diwylliant o gynhwysiant sy'n grymuso ein pobl i ffynnu ac sy'n meithrin ymdeimlad o berthyn.

I gefnogi'r Coleg i fod yn gymuned sy'n llawn parch, mae gennym gr?p llywio Cydraddoldeb, Amrywiaeth a Chynhwysiant. Gwrandewch ar ein Hyrwyddwyr Cydraddoldeb, Amrywiaeth a Chynhwysiant yn siarad am y rhesymau eu bod mor angerddol am gydraddoldeb, amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant.

Mae eich lles o bwys

Mae eich lles yn bwysig i ni. Rydym yn dymuno sicrhau y gallwch chi wneud y mwyaf o'r cyfleoedd a chyrraedd eich potensial llawn. Mae rhaglen o weithgareddau lles drwy gydol y flwyddyn ac mae'r ap Headspace ar gyfer yr holl staff yn sail i hynny. Mae'n cynnwys detholiad amrywiol o fyfyrdodau ar gyfer anghenion dechreuwyr a'r rhai mwy profiadol. Hefyd, mae gennym ni Bartneriaid sy'n hyrwyddwyr iechyd meddwl hyfforddedig a mynediad cymorthdaledig at gampfa. Rydym yn benderfynol o greu amgylchedd sy'n cefnogi iechyd meddwl ac iechyd corfforol pawb.
