Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating athletes of all levels. As a Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in developing the skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship of your athletes while fostering a positive and motivating environment.

Duties



Design and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams. Educate athletes on the rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport. Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that all activities are safe and engaging. Monitor athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Foster teamwork, discipline, and respect among athletes. Organise and participate in competitions, ensuring that all logistical aspects are managed effectively. Maintain communication with parents or guardians regarding athlete progress and development. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and trends within the sport.

Experience



Proven experience in sports coaching or a related field is essential. Strong knowledge of the specific sport you will be coaching, including its rules and strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and inspire athletes. A background in physical education or sports science is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches, staff, and volunteers to create a cohesive programme. Valid

Previous

experience in sports coaching

(paid or voluntary) Punctual, reliable, and great with children and young people Coaching qualifications (e.g. FA Level 1/2, UEFA) are highly desirable
