We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring and guiding participants of all primary school ages to develop their sporting skills, foster teamwork, and promote a healthy lifestyle. Duties
Plan, organise, and deliver engaging sports coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to ensure participants understand techniques and rules.
Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence among participants.
Monitor participant progress, offer constructive feedback, and adapt coaching methods as necessary.
Ensure all activities are conducted safely, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Maintain equipment and facilities in good condition, reporting any issues promptly.
Promote participation in sports programmes through community outreach and engagement initiatives.
Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievements of participants.
Experience
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching within a recognised organisation or community setting.
Good knowledge of various sports disciplines with the ability to adapt coaching techniques accordingly.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire individuals of diverse backgrounds.
Experience working with children possibly in a educational capacity is preferred.
Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected. This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about sport and education who wish to make a positive impact within their community through organised sporting activities.
