Ultimate Kids is a trusted provider of PE, school sport, physical activity and holiday camps across Merseyside. We work year-round (52 weeks) with primary schools and nurseries, delivering consistent, high-quality programmes led by reliable, well-trained staff.

Role:

Sports Educator (Primary School & Nursery Based)

Location:

Liverpool City Region

Contract:

Permanent, 28 hours per week

What You'll Do

Plan and deliver

NCPE-aligned

PE across KS1-KS2 with inclusive, engaging lessons and clubs. Plan and deliver structured Nursery sessions that align with our Ultimate Kids

Physical Literacy Framework

Safeguard pupils' welfare: active supervision, positive behaviour strategies, accurate registers/sign-in/out, and clear communication with staff and parents.

Manage holiday camps (HAF & private):

timetables, staff rotas, team brief/debrief, safeguarding and health & safety oversight, parent communications, attendance tracking, site setup/pack-down, and basic reporting. Maintain equipment and complete light admin (registers, checks, simple reports). (Optional development)Support outreach: tasters, open lessons, and school relationship-building.
About You (Essential)

Minimum Level 3 qualification

in a relevant field (e.g., Sport/PE/Coaching, Education, Childcare, or equivalent). Experience delivering PE in

UK primary

settings with strong

NCPE

knowledge. Confident communicator with pupils and adults; organised, reliable, and child-centred. Safeguarding-aware;

Enhanced DBS

(or willing to obtain).

Desirable:

First Aid/Safeguarding certificates; NGB/PE qualifications; full UK driving licence.
