Job Purpose



The Tennis Icon Group is seeking an experienced and driven

General Manager

to oversee and lead all aspects of our operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the growth and success of the company by driving strategic initiatives, managing daily operations, and fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.

You will be working across two brands: Tennis Icon UK and Racquet Club London.

Main Duties



Leadership and Strategy



Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives to ensure the company's growth and profitability. Lead and inspire teams across all departments, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and mission. Monitor industry trends and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.

Operational Management



Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimise operational workflows. Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to achieve financial targets and staff shift allocation. Venue Site Checks - Audits of venue marketing and distribute marketing at sites Client & Order Management - Responding to client booking requests, managing and fulfilling sale orders and booking same-day couriers.

Team Development and Management



Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to drive employee growth. Promote cross-departmental collaboration and communication to achieve company objectives.

Sales and Marketing Oversight



Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth and brand awareness. Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets. Oversee marketing campaigns and initiatives to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

Customer and Stakeholder Relations



Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and improving service offerings. Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and other engagements.

Risk and Compliance Management



Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.

Person Specification



Essential



Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in a leadership role, with a minimum of 3 years in management. Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and strategic planning. Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in project management and data analysis tools.

Desirable



Visionary leadership with a results-oriented approach. Experience in the tennis industry is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure. Commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. Driving license.

Pay: 32,000.00-45,000.00 per year
