Responsibilities
Conduct personalised massage sessions tailored to individual client needs, including relaxation, deep tissue, or specialised therapy.
Assess client requirements and develop customised treatment plans to optimise therapeutic outcomes.
Maintain a clean, organised treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Keep detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time.
Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up sessions or self-care practices.
Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and client privacy at all times.
Stay informed about the latest techniques and developments in massage therapy through ongoing professional development.
Experience
Proven 2 years experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role within a recognised wellness or healthcare setting.
Demonstrable knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential to deliver safe and effective treatments.
Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme is required; ongoing education is highly valued.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required, to accommodate client schedules.
A compassionate approach combined with professionalism and attention to detail is vital for success in this role.
