Boost Sports Massage is looking for a dedicated and skilled Sports Massage Therapist to deliver high-quality soft tissue therapy to our new and existing clients.
The Role:
Assess clients and develop personalised treatment plans
Perform sports massage therapy and soft tissue manipulation
Advise clients on lifestyle and activity changes
Create rehabilitation programmes
Manage SOAP notes
Develop own skills and knowledge through Continuing Professional Development
Communicate with the practice manager
Contribute to marketing efforts to strengthen the brand and increase awareness
Participate in weekly meetings and training sessions
Prepare the treatment area and maintain high levels of cleanliness and tidiness
Requirements:
Sports Therapy Degree or Level 4 Sports Massage qualification or above (experienced therapists working towards these qualifications may be considered)
Understanding of strength and conditioning exercises, as well as a general understanding of training protocols and nutrition practices.
Excellent timekeeping, communication, and organisation skills.
Ability to offer a professional service and represent the Boost Sports Massage brand.
Confidence to work unsupervised (training and support will be available outside of treatment hours.)
Enthusiasm for helping others with their skills and knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile.
Able to proficiently communicate and collaborate with other members of the team.
Therapists must hold their own insurance and first aid certificate.
Additional Information:
This is a self-employed role under the Boost Sports Massage brand, with payment on a service charge spilit fee basis.
All equipment, massage mediums, linens, and branded tops will be provided.
Client acquisition will be the responsibility of the practice manager. High levels of client rebooking are expected to be maintained by the therapist.
This role is primarily for evening and weekend work. Some flexibility of working hours will be required, especially until an established diary of clients and work hours is built.
The therapist must be available to commit to a permanent minimum of one evening each week and alternate Saturdays. (Additional hours would be an available option as client demand increases.)
