Job Description

Exciting opportunities are available to fulfil key full- and part-time roles as a Sports Performance Coaches at King Performance Ideology. The role will enable you to work as part of and alongside a well established and forward thinking team of sports-science, strength and conditioning, sports medicine, and sports nutrition practitioners. You will be responsible for overseeing and delivering KPI's unique coaching philosophy to professional and non-professional sportsmen/women and youth populations in one-to-one and group settings. The role will also require contribution to consultancy services for clubs and organisations within our current scope of work, as well as administrative tasks associated with KPI's 24/7-360 Athlete Management System.

Key responsibilities

Assist in creation, prescription, monitoring, manipulation and adherence of KPI's coaching philosophy

Coaching to professional and non-professional sportsmen/women and youth populations in one-to-one and group settings Profiling athletes using key sports technology systems and in-house diagnostics Programming and periodisation of bespoke training interventions Scheduling of training prescription across micro, meso and macrocycle in coordination with club / team / sport commitments Monitoring and evaluating training prescription with sports technology systems Communicating with clients and key stakeholders Delivering advice, insights, and education Capturing, handling, and producing key content for education and marketing purposes Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team of staff members Contributing to the general upkeep of the business premises
Essentials list

Master's (MSc) level degree in Sports Science / Strength and Conditioning (or equivalent) Employment history in competitive sports organisations Strong scientific research background and underpinning Personally healthy, active, and well-being conscious Computer, data, and sports technology literate Experience working with both adult and youth athletes Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills Strong work ethic - passionate, punctual, reliable, professional, and enthusiastic CRB / DBS checked First Aid certificate Full U.K. driving licence or ability to travel to and from KPI's premises
Desirables list

Doctorate level degree (or working towards) in Sports Science / Strength and Conditioning (or equivalent) Experience working in professional football organisations Experience working in private / external sports performance fields UKSCA / ASCA / NSCA accreditation Experience managing a group of staff
