CPS Grounds Ltd is a well-established and expanding Grounds Management Company, who also fulfil a range of landscaping and outdoor projects. Working primarily within the education and sports field sector with over 250 customers in the Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and BaNES areas.
Job Type: Full time, permanent.
Salary: 26,000
CPS are seeking a Sports Grounds Technician who will be assisting with the seasonal maintenance and development of sports surfaces and associated operations in line with contract specifications. You will report to the Sports Operations Manager and will primarily maintain the sports field markings of local schools and sports clubs. The role will include line marking sports pitches, maintaining run ups and jump pits, strimming and post changeovers.
Full training for the right candidate can be provided but a strong customer focused ethic is a must along with a pride for presentation
.Essential
skills, qualifications and experience:A good team member focussing on high standards.
Communication skills and ability to forge strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Be able to complete documents relating to post eg; Site Visit Reports, timesheets etc.
Reliability.
Working abilities in Maths, English and IT.
Full driving licence.
Right to work in the UK.
Ability to pass a DBS check.
Desirable
skills, qualifications and experience:Experience of measuring and marking sports pitches.
Fast-liner proficiency.
PA6 Spraying licence.
Experience within educations/sports sectors.
