We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sports Therapist or Massage Therapist to join our growing wellness and performance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy, a passion for client care, and a desire to continue developing their skills. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including general population and athletes, and may include involvement with local sports teams for match day massage, taping, and recovery support.

We are looking for someone eager to learn, grow professionally, and contribute positively as part of a supportive team.

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and health histories to develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform a range of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, tailored to each client's needs. Provide pre- and post-event massage, taping, and recovery support for sports teams as required. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised treatment area, ensuring equipment hygiene and readiness. Educate clients on the benefits of therapy and recommend appropriate aftercare or follow-up treatments. Accurately document treatment plans, client sessions, and progress notes. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry practices, techniques, and standards.

Requirements

Valid certification or licensure in Sports Therapy or Massage Therapy from an accredited institution. Experience or interest in working with sports teams, including match day support, massage, and taping (experience in these areas would be an advantage). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
