We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Therapist or Physiotherapist to join our expanding team on a self-employed basis.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients recover from injury, reduce pain, and return to their lifestyle. You will have the freedom to manage your own diary, work with a wide range of clients, and grow your caseload within an established clinic setting.
You will also be required to provide pitch-side support for local football teams, with the majority of fixtures taking place on Saturday afternoons. This includes pre-match preparation, pitch-side care throughout the game, and post-match treatment as needed.
In addition to Saturday fixtures, you may also be required to cover occasional midweek matches.
Responsibilities
Provide hands-on assessment, treatment, and early rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries in clinic.
Deliver personalised exercise programmes and maintain accurate clinical records.
Support pitch-side first aid and acute injury management during matches and training sessions.
Carry out pre-match preparation including taping, strapping, warm-up support, and player readiness checks.
Provide post-match care such as soft tissue treatment, injury advice, and return-to-play guidance.
Attend Saturday afternoon fixtures (3:00 PM kick-off), with occasional midweek or additional weekend matches as required.
Qualifications
Relevant degree or certification in Sports Therapy or Physiotherapy
Valid (FA EFAiF) minimum
Insurance to practice
Strong understanding of injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques
Ability to perform assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
