About the Role

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our industry-leading sheet steel division as a day shift spot welding operator. You will be working with Serraton spot welding machines and will be responsible for accurately positioning and welding flange nuts to components while meeting quality, strength, and production standards

Full and extensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Spot weld flange nuts onto sheet metal or fabricated components.

Correctly position flange nuts using jigs, fixtures, or templates.

Set welding parameters (current, pressure, time) as per work instructions.

Inspect welded nuts for alignment, strength, and weld quality.

Perform torque checks as required.

Maintain welding machines, electrodes, and fixtures.

Follow safety, quality, and production guidelines.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Experience in spot welding flange nuts or similar welded fasteners onto metal components.

Knowledge of nut welding standards and weld quality checks.

Ability to read drawings and follow welding specifications.

Understanding of welding defects and corrective actions.

Physically fit and safety conscious.

Flexibility with shift times is essential.

Willingness to work overtime during peak production periods.

Strong problem-solving skills.

A proactive and reliable approach to work.
