Job Summary

The SPR - ENT position is a vital role within our healthcare team, focusing on providing exceptional care to patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with medical professionals to assist in diagnosing and treating various ENT disorders. This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through effective communication and clinical support.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of patients for examinations and procedures. Conduct preliminary assessments and document patient histories accurately. Support ENT specialists during examinations and surgical procedures. Maintain a clean and organised clinical environment, ensuring all equipment is sterilised and ready for use. Educate patients on post-operative care and provide them with relevant information regarding their treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications

A relevant qualification in healthcare or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in an ENT setting or similar medical environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to empathise with patients. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Familiarity with medical terminology related to ENT conditions is beneficial.
