We are seeking a skilled Painter/Spray Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in new build painting, airless spay painting and demonstrate strong team leadership skills. This role involves preparation of all surfaces, paint application, team leadership, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. A valid driving licence is essential as travel to different job sites may be required.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
Select and mix paints to achieve desired colours and finishes.
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring even coverage and a professional appearance.
Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project requirements and timelines.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction painting is essential.
Proven experience of airless spray painting
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between job sites.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
