Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Finisher for a full-time hybrid role based in Ayr, with an option for some on site decoration/finishing work. The Finisher will be responsible for the preparation, finishing, and detailing of custom joinery products, ensuring premium quality outputs. This role involves working with various materials, applying professional painting and coatings, and operating power tools to achieve a high-quality finish. Collaboration with team members and adherence to project deadlines are integral parts of the position.

Materials used- oils/lacquer/waterbased paints

Systems used- kremlin/graco/wagner

Qualifications

Proficiency in handling power tools and equipment, with a strong understanding of safety protocols.

Experience with paint mixing, application, and professional painting techniques.

Hands-on expertise in finishing furniture and attention to detail for achieving polished, high-quality results.

Willingness to learn through provided training and adapt to new techniques and materials.

Strong organizational skills, teamwork orientation, and commitment to maintaining craftsmanship standards.

Prior experience in custom joinery or carpentry is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.04-20.58 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
