Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint to trailers, trucks and parts, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role requires effective communication skills in English.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes. Apply paint using airless spray equipment. Match colours according to specifications or customer preferences. Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the painting process. Communicate effectively with management and foreman regarding project requirements and progress. Adhere to safety standards and regulations while working on-site. Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed after initial application is complete.

Qualifications

Proven experience in painting or a related field is preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
