Job Description
Sprayer Operator
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the inputs team within our expanding agri-business. We farm maize, sugar beet, and a mix of whole crop cereals across 30,000 acres, with the majority of crops supplying one of our five anaerobic digestion plants.
We operate a modern spraying fleet comprising two Horsch Leeb 8.300 PT and a Horsch 12 TD, all supported by a 16,000L Vegcraft bowser.
About You
A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills are essential. You must be willing to work long hours, including weekends and bank holidays when seasonal demands require. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a strong commitment to health and safety are key.
Candidates must hold PA1/PA2 certification and a full UK driving licence.
It would be advantageous if you also have:
Other formal agricultural qualifications (e.g. telehandler) Practical knowledge of crop husbandry and modern arable systems Workshop and machinery skills
