Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in design principles and be proficient in various design software. This role involves collaborating with project teams to develop innovative designs that meet client specifications and industry standards. You will play a crucial part in transforming concepts into detailed schematics and models, ensuring that all designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with project goals.

Responsibilities

Develop and produce detailed design drawings using software such as AutoCAD, and/or Revit. Create 3D models and visualisations using NavisWorks. Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure designs are feasible and meet construction requirements. Prepare schematics and technical documentation for projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements. Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations for clients. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and software advancements to enhance design capabilities.

Qualifications

Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks and CAD applications. Strong understanding of construction processes and principles. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively. A degree or equivalent qualification in Design, Architecture, Engineering or a related field is preferred but not essential. Previous experience in a design role is advantageous but not mandatory; we welcome recent graduates as well.
