electrically biased Sprinkler Service & Commissioning Technician
to join our dedicated fire suppression team.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the
service, testing, fault-finding and commissioning
of automatic sprinkler systems, with a strong focus on electrical control and monitoring equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Service, test, fault-find and commission automatic sprinkler systems
Commission and fault-find sprinkler control panels, interfaces, flow switches and pressure switches
Apply commissioning discipline to system testing, cause-and-effect verification and documentation
Electrical fault-finding on control panels, wiring and monitoring equipment
Support mechanical testing of sprinkler systems (training provided)
Complete service reports, commissioning records and handover documentation
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with
BS EN 12845, LPC Rules and BS 9251
What We're Looking For
Experience in a
commissioning engineer
role within life-safety, fire, BMS or building systems
Strong background commissioning
analogue addressable control panels
or similar complex control equipment
Proven electrical fault-finding skills
Ability to interpret drawings, schematics and cause-and-effect documentation
Capable of working independently on site and managing commissioning activities
Full UK driving licence
Training & Development
This is an
electrically focused commissioning role
. The successful candidate must be keen to develop the mechanical knowledge required to fully service and commission sprinkler systems.
