As a Senior Applications Analyst you will be responsible for administration of the Salesforce Platform, including system configuration, maintenance, enhancements and upgrades, data integrity, deployments, security, end-user support, documentation, and governance and efficient operations of Go-to-Market Applications working in concert with other technology and business leaders within Certara. The role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce CRM platform, including related solutions like CPQ and will develop skills administering Marketing Automation and Contract Lifecycle Management solutions.
Responsibilities
Support the strategic roadmap for Go-to-Market business applications such as CRM, CPQ, Marketing Automation (MAP) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)
Support CRM initiatives including Territory Management and CPQ enhancements
Engage with business stakeholders on projects and through submitted requests to deliver consistent level of service
Configure and customize standard & custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, validation rules, triggers, workflows, approval processes, installed packages, lightning components (LWC), etc. within Salesforce CRM platform.
Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings, etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules) across CRM, MAP and CLM solutions
Manage configurations within MAP and CLM solutions where business needs require
Committed to professional development via training on new technologies introduced to the Go-to-Market applications ecosystem
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher preferably in Computer Science,
Business Informatics, Computer Applications or Engineering
At least 4 years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud
Hands on experience in configuration and customization standard & custom objects, validations rules, workflows, process builder, flows and managed packages.
Experience with CPQ and Territory Management is highly desirable.
Should understand Agile delivery process and tools such as JIRA.
2+ years of supporting Marketing Automation applications (e.g.
Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot) preferred
Proficient in building Salesforce LWCs is a plus.
Experience with a sales enablement tool (e.g. Highspot, Seismic, Gong.io) a plus
Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management applications (e.g. Malbek, Conga, Agiloft) nice to have
Knowledge of data migration and ETL/integration tools is beneficial.
