Your opportunity



Work as development lead to help the team deliver to project/business timelines and assist in mentoring junior staff where appropriate Work closely with Technology management and the investment teams to build and design the strategic architectural vision, ensuring all delivery fits within this Performs hands-on development and testing Mentor junior staff where appropriate Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills




5+ years Investment Management experience, financial systems, data centric systems Background of working in hedge fund or alternative investment environment, working directly with investment team on tech delivery Strong understanding of Python, with libraries/frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark Strong understanding of distributed computing, with experience using frameworks like Databricks Strong experience with Azure or other cloud platforms (AWS) Strong experience building data pipelines or ETL tools and Orchestration frameworks such as Airflow Strong experience and appreciation of CI/CD implementation Good experience with implementing automated testing Good experience with Infrastructure as Code with Terraform Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies Strong understanding of database systems and data warehousing, such SQL server and Snowflake Good knowledge of Angular and C# Good knowledge of SQL Degree educated in mathematics or scientific/engineering discipline





Nice to have skills
