What You'll Do


As a Data Sales leader, you will be the driving force behind expanding our market data adoption and revenue streams:


Generate

transformative new business by educating existing and prospective clients on the strategic benefits of CME Group data products and services.

Architect

and nurture deep, high-value client relationships with key market data and business contacts to ensure full understanding and compliance regarding data usage.

Execute

on

focused

sales plans and priorities to meet or decisively exceed financial goals.

Identify

client needs, emerging trends, and usage behaviors, communicating critical market intelligence back to i nternal product teams and Business Line Managers.

Drive

holistic client engagement through cross-selling and cross-referring the full suite of CME products and services with relevant CD&S teams.

Cultivate

deep product and service acumen across CME Group's market data, asset classes, and financial instruments.

Monitor

and report on critical market data issues, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics within the global financial industry.

Travel

,

as necessary, nationally and internationally to secure key relationships and execute strategic sales plans.
What You'll Bring


We are looking for a highly skilled professional with demonstrated success in complex financial sales:


Secure

a minimum of 3 years of relevant sales or product management experience within the wholesale financial Market Data sector.

Demonstrate

advanced knowledge of market data pricing and intricate licensing models across exchanges, index providers, and calculation agents.

Possess

extensive client-facing experience, translating CME Group's data offerings into actionable trading, investment, and risk management strategies for financial institutions.

Understand

the global data consumer landscape, including major and niche information vendors, investment banks, and proprietary trading firms.

Apply

a keen sense of business acumen and superior negotiating skills to navigate challenging customer engagements and achieve mutually beneficial, relationship-preserving outcomes.

Manage

and prioritize a diverse set of responsibilities effectively to meet or surpass ambitious team objectives.

Foster

strong teamwork and cross-organizational collaboration, actively contributing to a culture of open communication and information sharing. A

Bachelor's Degree

in a relevant field (finance, economics, business) is required, with an advanced degree preferred.
