Gynaecology Ambulatory Centre

30 hours per week | Permanent

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Gynaecology Ambulatory Centre at Heatherwood Hospital.



This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive excellent care throughout their clinic journey, while contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the service.

Key responsibilities include:

Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support and care for patients during their appointments



Ensuring clinics are fully prepared and organised to deliver safe and effective care



Supporting the senior nursing team with the day-to-day coordination and running of clinics



Working closely with medical staff to help ensure clinics run efficiently and to time

To provide the nursing care of Gynaecological patients, and work within a team/ward environment.



Responsibilities include the identification, planning, implementation and evaluation of all care provided.



To work in other areas of Frimley Park Hospital Trust as required by Ward Sister or delegated deputy.



Commence effective discharge planning, ensuring appropriate use of hospital resources and improving patient flow.



To work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to support the patient during their appointment.



Ensure clinic is prepared.



Work with senior team to manage the day to day running of the clinics.



Work with the medical staff to ensure that the clinics run on time.
