Job Description

We a looking for nursing staff who are fully flexible to come and work with us permanently on C2. Cancer care overall has very high acuity, C2 will enable you to gain skills to look after those acutely unwell patients. We are a 27 bedded haematology ward, 7 beds are dedicated to stem cell returns, you will be able to care for these patients. We have a high volume of elective activity for patients receiving SACT (systemic anti-cancer treatment) i.e.



immunotherapy and chemotherapy, you will gain skills to be able to care for these patients. In this role, youll contribute to the provision and monitoring of high-quality individualised nursing care in accordance with agreed policies and procedures. You will: Provide a high standard of care for patients by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for individual patientsCarry out all aspects of nursing care, treatments and procedures within agreed policies and procedures.Undertake specific cancer care competencies.Youll act as a role model to other staff, encouraging effective working relationships and the development of a cohesive nursing team.
