Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurses to join the team at Ancora House.
Ancora House is an in-patient child and adolescent mental health service, consisting of 30 beds, split across two wards: Coral and Indigo. We are a general adolescent unit, that also supports young people with an eating disorders.

Main duties of the job




You will be part of a supportive and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team, working on a rotational shift basis. This includes days, nights and twilight shifts. The post offers the successful applicant the exciting opportunity to join this team in providing the highest quality of care for our service users. We have an excellent training programme and preceptorship programme.

The individual must be able to demonstrate an understanding and application of the 6 C's in practice, these being Care; Compassion; Competence; Communication; Courage and Commitment.



Ancora House is based on the Countess of Chester Health Park Site approximately 1.5 miles from Chester city centre.

1 st level mental health trained nurse, with an up to date knowledge of current mental health legislation. and or Experience of working with adults with a Learning Disability

Desirable criteria




Experience of working in a Mental Health setting Experience of carrying out clinical supervision.
