We have a very well established rotation and preceptorship programme supported by dedicated preceptorship development nurses. Our rotation posts offer opportunity to experience the whole of the childrens hospital including neonates, childrens emergency department, PCCU and all of our specialist wards and departments. It is important to us that our rotation is flexible to meet individual needs with some staff choosing to complete three six month rotations, two nine month rotations or an even more bespoke option.
As well as our rotation posts we also have the option for you to choose a specific ward or department to work in with the option of using our transfer window system to move at a later date, and for those newly qualified nurses who are passionate about having a career in paediatricintensive care nursing, we have our critical care foundation programme. We are also happy to accept applications from experienced adult registered nurses that have experience in paediatric settings.
