Responsibilities

Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions. Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualised care plans. Deliver direct patient care, including wound care, vital sign monitoring, and assistance with daily activities. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills.

Qualifications

Valid registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice. Proven experience in medication administration and patient care is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A compassionate approach to patient care with a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes.
