Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and document findings accurately.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans based on patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, reporting any changes to the medical team promptly.
Educate patients and their families about health management, medication usage, and post-discharge care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support for patients.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
Skills
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to inform patient assessments and care decisions.
Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and effective communication.
Proficient in medication administration techniques, ensuring accuracy and safety in all processes.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while prioritising patient needs.
