Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated experienced nurse with excellent communication skills to join the St John's Institute of Dermatology Team.
Our Dermatology skin cancer unit comprises of the Photopheresis, melanoma, lymphoma and general clinics and you will be expected to rotate between these units.Our Photopheresis department is a nurse led service. Photopheresis or ECP (Extracorporeal Photopheresis) is a form of apheresis and photodynamic therapy in which blood is treated with a photosensitizing agent treated with uvadex solution, exposed to ultraviolet light (UVA), and returned to the patient.
We perform biopsies for a number of dermatological conditions as well as provide nurse led services for skin cancer. You will have the opportunity to assist in surgery in an outpatient setting as well as practice complex wound care and become an expert on skin cancer prevention. All the necessary training will be provided.
